Why Duplicate a Device Component?

There is no need for a "duplicate"feature in AppMockUp Studio when it comes to device components because they are designed to work smarter. Here's how to efficiently create multiple device components:

1. Add a new device component of the same type you want to replicate. Go to How to Add a Device Component for detailed steps. (here)

2. The instance screenshots will automatically sync through Main Screenshots, ensuring consistency across all device components.

3. If you have custom overrides on the original device that you want to replicate:

- Select the instance screenshot you want to copy the overrides from

- Use Ctrl+C (Windows) or Cmd+C to copy

- Select the target instance screenshot

- Use Ctrl+V (Windows) or Cmd+V (Mac) to paste

This streamlined approach maintains screenshot synchronization while giving you the flexibility to customize individual devices when needed.
